GILDED CHANDELIER
A sculpture by Louise Bourgeois overlooks a bath in French architect Jacques Grange's Paris apartment. The chandelier is 19th-century; the tub, sink, and faucet are by the marble floor and L'Epi d'Or is based on a Byzantine pattern.
1960S PENDANT
A circa-1960s light fixture by Sarfatti hangs above a Water Monopoly bathtub in this master bathroom in Manhattan; the side table is by Achille Salvagni, and the walls are sheathed in marble,

MID-CENTURY CHANDELIER
As a result of a pair of brother architects, this flat on Paris's Right Bank has a dark and moody aesthetic that upgrades classic French style for the 21st century. The master bath holds a 1950s dining table a 1960s chandelier, and also a Saarinen armchair. The niche is clad in tiles adorned with gold foliage, the walls are of marble, and the floor is tiled with gold-leafed-glass and marble mosaics.
CANDLE SCONCES
From the guest bath of this Los Angeles farmhouse, a chair is upholstered in the California state flag, the fixtures and sink are by Waterworks, the habit wallcovering is by Nathalie Lété, and the door is painted in Farrow & Ball's Studio Green.
